Recently, I went on a family holiday to Menorca, which is an island just off Spain, for two weeks. It was such a good holiday, I met some amazing people, and the island itself was beautiful. I love looking at other people's photos from their holidays, so I thought i'd do the same.  I've decided to put together a post all about the holiday, and all the photos I took. (Warning: This is a very photo heavy post!)

As most of you probably know, I was recently in Menorca for two weeks, for a family holiday. One of the things I love sorting out is my hand luggage. (Is it weird I enjoy packing this?) Although my flight was only two and a half hours long, there was quite a few things that I feel are essential for me when flying.

First thing's first, I obviously have to have my phone, just in case of emergency's. I know I can't use it on the plane, but I would rather it was with me at all times.
I also love to have my iPod (although I realise i've forgotten to include it in my above photos..oops!)  and headphones, as I am a nervous flyer, so I like to distract myself by listening to music, and reading a book. (I am currently OBSESSED with the Divergent series.)
Chewing gum and water (also not photographed, sorry!) are also essential. Mainly because my mouth gets really dry on the plane, and I like to keep hydrated/chew on something. The chewing gum also prevents my ears from hurting.
I also take my purse, which is pretty self explanatory, I need money!
At the airport, I tend to pick up a magazine, and I particularly love 'Company' magazine. Not only is their content fabulous, but the layout and design of the magazine itself is spectacular, I'm in love with it.
I am also very unlucky, and suffer really bad with travel sickness. I have tried countless things, but these specific travel pills are the only ones that work. (However, they make really drowsy, dizzy, sleepy, and I'm sometimes not aware of my surroundings. It also means I can easily sleep on the plane if I want, so I'd take that over puking everywhere any day!)
Comfort is key when flying, so that is why as soon as  on the plane my shoes are off, and the fluffy socks are on! Fluffy socks make everything better.
I also bring tissues with me everywhere, so flying was no different! (I also get hay-fever, so these were great to have!)
I am quite big on cleanliness, and I always have a little hand sanitizer with me, just for every-day things. It's just a rally useful thing to carry. I absolutely love this one from "Bath and body works". It's called "Winter Candy Apple" and it's my favourite!
In terms of makeup, I only really take two products, a concealer and a lip balm. This was the only makeup I had on my face on the way to the airport, so I like to touch up on the plane, so I look kind of awake when I come off the other end? (I probably looked like a zombie, but I can dream?)
I use my cute little handbag mirror to touch up my minimal makeup.
As I was travelling to a sunny place, sunglasses were essential to bring, as I needed to shield my eyes from the sun once we got to Menorca.

Summer has finally decided to show itself in the UK, and I am enjoying it immensely! (I'm currently writing this as I sit outside in the sun with an ice lolly, and my summer playlist blasting in my ears-this is the life!)
Although i've been away for two weeks abroad, you wouldn't really guess, as I hardly tan! Before I left for Menorca, I purchased the "Sleek Face Form Palette" in Light, and it's honestly become a summer makeup staple for me! Read on to find out why..

I was in Superdrug, and I was mainly in for the Eyebrow Stylist, but I also wanted to pick up another of the "Face Contour" Kits, as I had one last year, and I loved it. However, they didn't have them in stock, so I settled for this, as i'd heard great things about it. I didn't know what to expect, but I sure wasn't disappointed!
The packaging, as usual, is beautiful, I love the (excuse the pun) sleek feeling of it, and although the black packaging gets dirty fingerprints n it quite easily, I love the simplicity of it. I've raved enough about the sleek packaging on my blog many a time before, so I won't bore you.
The bronzer is really lovely, it applies really smoothly, and is super easy to blend out, and create a natural contour, or just an all round glow, depending on what look you want. It's also really easily build able, so if you want it more dramatic, then it's really easy t do. There's absolutely no shimmer in it, which in my opinion is my favourite kind of bronzer, as it's versatile for both contouring, and just an overall glow. I find that bronzer doesn't last to long on me, but this lasted a good few hours, so  I was quite pleased.
The highlighter is nice too. I'm not a huge highlighting person, but I do put it on the top of my cheekbones. This did the job in creating a natural highlight, but it is really shimmery, so in this case, I literally only use the tiniest bit, otherwise you could end up looking like a disco ball!
However, it was the blusher that I was most surprised about. If you've been reading my blog for a while now, you may or may not know that I don't wear blusher.. ever. As I have quite a red face, I feel that blusher emphasizes it. The blush in this I believe is the very raved about 'rose gold' blush, so I was excited to try it, and I was so happy with it. It's such a natural shade, and it just gives the right amount of glow, helping me to look naturally flushed, and it doesn't bring out my red face. I can't explain it, but i'm sure you can see from the swatch above how pretty the colour was. One downside was that it didn't last really long on my face, so that's something to think about when purchasing this.

Overall, I was really pleased with this, and I would recommend it to you all, because it's really easy to slip in your makeup bag, and it's all together, rather than having a separate blush, bronzer and highlight (I love compact things!!) I would probably give this 4.5 stars! And at £9.99, it isn't exactly breaking the bank, and i'ma ll for beauty on a budget!

Hey everyone, so i'm back from my holiday! It was a great two weeks away, so relaxing, I managed to read a tonne of books, and I met so many amazing people! I'm quite sad to be home, but at least it's nice weather in Scotland! I'm back with a review of a product i've been reaching for quite a bit over the past couple of weeks, and it became an absolute staple on holiday! It's the Sleek Eyebrow Stylist.

I've struggled with my eyebrows for years. They're really quite bushy, but quite sparse in areas. One eyebrow is also a little bit higher than the other, which makes them always look uneven. I've been using the Beauty UK High Brows Kit, but i'm still not 100% happy with the result. I heard the hype surrounding the Soap and Glory Brow Archery kit, but it's been sold out in my local Boots for weeks and weeks. I'd read that the Sleek version was pretty similar, so I picked it up just before my holiday, as I really didn't want to be fussing about with a powder, and a brow gel, and an eyebrow brush, I wanted all this together (read: i'm lazy), and that's exactly what I got!

I absolutely love the packaging of this product, it's really light, compact, simple, and (ahem) sleek! I just love Sleek packaging in general, in my opinion, the simpler the better.
Despite having really dark brown hair, I chose to go with the shade medium, as in the past, the 'dark brown' shades have been too dark for me. I was glad I picked this colour, as it's honestly the perfect match for me!
The wax needs warmed up a little bit before the product is visible, but once it's warmed up, it glides on my brows beautifully. The angled end makes it super easy to get a really nice brow shape. I like to use it flat for the front of my brows, and use the point to get finer strokes for the ends of my brows.
The little spooly (is that how you spell it?) is great. I use it before I do my eyebrows to get all the hairs going the right direction, and I also use it after i've applied the product to blend it out and make it less harsh.
The product itself lasts a really long time. I've used it in Menorca, where it's usually around 30 degrees Celsius, and it didn't sweat off my face! I didn't even use a brow gel, so I was surprised it lasted so long! Another good thing was that I went in the sea one day, and I had my brows done, and it stayed put on my eyebrows.
I'm so impressed with this product, it's made doing my eyebrows really really easy, and it now only takes me the best part of a minute to do them, in comparison t a good five minutes before!
I honestly can't rave about this product enough, it's absolutely amazing, and if you're like me, and struggle with your brows,  would 100% recommend this product!
