May Favourites! | Beauty, Fashion + Random
June 06, 2015
It's that time of the month again where I get to tell you all about what i've been loving! I haven't written a favourites post in a long time (over a year!), but i'm excited to be back to doing one, as I was loving a fair few things in May! So, lets get to it!
First up is this beautiful bag I got for a mere £8 from Primark. You may recognise this from my recent haul post, and it's been getting used loads! I mainly wear monochrome colours, so i've found this yellow bag to be a perfect way to add a pop of colour. (Plus, yellow is so stylish right now, I love it!)

It was my birthday in May, and I got this book from one of my close friends. (Cara, if you're reading - Thank You!) I do like Connor Franta, but I never really considered buying his book, i'm not sure why. Anyway, I got given it, and I really enjoyed it! Connor seems to have a similar mindset to me, so I sometimes felt like I was reading my own words, rather than his! Anyway, a really great read, with amazing photos. It made me laugh, and think, and it was just amazing. I highly recommend.
Another birthday present now (Thank you Jennie!) is this sugar scrub from Boots. It smells amazing, leaves me feeling really fresh and clean, and the smell lingers, unlike other shower scrubs i've tried. I really do like it.
I'm sure i've mentioned this product before, but it's the Coconut Cocktail hairspray from Urban Fudge. Since I got my hair cut short i've been curling it more, purely because I think it looks nicer, and this hairspray is a godsend. Not only does it hold my hair in place, but it smells AMAZING. I'm obsessed.
I was recently in London (post coming soon) and I needed a little travel shampoo and conditioner. I've used these before, and loved them, and nothing's changed. They leave my hair feeling so smooth, and they smell lovely, and I can't rave about this brand enough.
In May, I developed a love for disposable cameras. There's something about the way that you can't change the photo, or take 100's (without ruining the whole camera) that makes it more real, and personal. I've already used up two, and i'm onto my third!
My friend Kate recommended this product to me, after I noticed her eyelashes were super long. I picked it up in ASDA for around £9. It's basically a mascara you apply after you've put on your normal mascara, and then you seal it with one more coat of your normal mascara, and boy does it make your eyelashes HUGE. I have been loving this! I naturally have quite short lashes, so it's nice to have a change!
This next product has been a lifesaver. I've had really bad skin over the past month, because of severe stress, but this has really helped to keep it reasonable. Basically, you spray a bit on your face, and let it dry, and it acts as preventing blemishes, and it works like a charm!
I got this face scrub in a beauty box, and i'd never heard of the brand before, but I will definitely be checking out more of their stuff! This makes my skin feel so soft, and I can really feel the exfoliating beads working at getting rid of dead skin, and thoroughly clean my face.
Lastly is this body spray from Victoria's Secret. It's quite pricy at £13, but I just love this smell so much. It's honestly amazing. It's coconut and vanilla, and I really just adore it. It's my go-to scent, and I have the smaller bottle as well, which is perfect for throwing in a handbag!
So that's what i've been loving through May! What were you loving?
Until next time!
