Recently, I stumbled across a website (which you can find here) and it claimed to give the true meaning of all twelve star signs. I read through it, and what I found interested me so much, that it led me to search more websites relating to star signs.
Because I was born on the 10th May, this means that my star sign is "Taurus".

The first thing said about "Taureans", (is that even what it would be called?) was:

"Like the animal that represents them, it's all about strength, stamina and will. Stubborn by nature, the Taurus will stand her ground to the bitter end."

I would say that this is true, to an extent. I would definitely say that I was stubborn, but I wouldn't say that I was particularly more stubborn than the average person. The post then goes on to say:

"Taurus is also loving, appreciative, and sympathetic. The Taurus is very understanding, and when we need someone to unburden ourselves to, we often share our deepest fears wit the Taurus."

It's hard to judge this from my point of view, but I would say this was pretty accurate. I am understanding and sympathetic most of the time. I'm not too sure about the "Deepest fears" part though. Would you come to me and tell me your greatest fear?
Apparently, according to this post, Taureans are

"patient, practical and efficient. They are excellent in matters of business, and will make wonderful teachers." 

Well... I am patient in some things, but I can also be super impatient! (in most cases!) Practical? Hmm... not sure about this one. I would say that sometimes I am efficient with things. Not all the time though. As for the last two points? Not true at all for me!

So reading this lead me onto another website (here), and this is what I found..
Apparently my "Life pursuit" is

"To have financial and emotional security"

and my secret desire is to:

 "have a happy, secure and wealthy life."

There are true, of course they are! But, isn't this something that everyone really wants in their lifetime?
Next, the article says..

"Taureans manage to discreetly stay apart from the crowd, even though they have a well-earned reputation for being socialites." 

This made me laugh, as this is the complete opposite to me! I blend into the crowd, nobody really notices me, i'm essentially a wallflower, because i'm quiet, which means that I am definitely not a sociable!
Next..

"Taureans will let people get close, but only as close as they want them."

I completely agree with this.. If I don't want to talk to a person, I will make my feelings towards them crystal clear. (in a nice way, I swear..)
Another good point made about Taureans is:

"Getting your point across to an Taurean, if they don't want to hear it, is like talking to trees - they simply won't budge."

I am ashamed to admit this is true. If I think my point is right, I will not back down. Oops?
The next point also made me giggle:

"Taureans are closely associated with all things of earth and nature."

This is completely untrue for me. That kind of thing doesn't really interest me.

Probably the most accurate part throughout both articles has to be that:

"There is no such thing as an open-booked Taurean. Their feelings, fears and desires often run far deeper than anyone around them could ever guess."

Not even anyone close to me know everything about me. Not even close. I tend to mostly keep myself to myself, as in my opinion, that's the best way.
